Aline (2004)

Hi, I'm Aline Dassel

I was born in Friesland in 1957. My maiden name is Klok (that's Dutch for Clock).
I am currently employed as a librarian/cybrarian in the Public Library of Amersfoort (The Netherlands). I'm also responsible for the web pages of this library, so please feel free to check them out. (always good for our statistics!)
But be warned: they are in Dutch!

So far life has been kind to me. My only complaint is that there don't seem to be enough days in the week to do all the things I want. My only hope is that I go into overtime.
For me there are a lot of things that make life worth living. Here are a few of them:

First of all, of course, my husband Hans.
If you want to know more about him, check out his page!
May 2008 we adopted a kitten from the asylum: Nynke. A gorgeous looking cat: adventurous, playful, and a great hunter of mice.

All our previous cats, Mourka, Famke, Jerke en Jitse, are memorated on this page.

Everything to do with Star Trek.
I have been a fan ever since the sixties. I watch all the series, and follow alt.binaries.startrek vigorously for new sound bites and images. To share some of this with other fans I created a web site where you can find lots of Star Trek Wallpaper images.

Exotic holidays
We love going on vacation outside of Europe. So far we've been to the States (5 times), Japan, Thailand, Egypt, India,Cuba, Vietnam and Cambodia. Next stop: who knows? South America, China???

Naturism
We also like to take a naturistic holiday once a year; we hate tan lines.

Computers, computer games and the Internet.
Most of my spare time is spent behind my computer, and a lot of my computer time is spent on the Internet. Here is a list of my favorite links. Know my links and you know me! [of course only the part I want you to see....;-)]
